These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Aoria ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), a customer success intelligence platform.

By creating an account or using Aoria, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Beta Product Status

Early Access / Beta Product

Aoria is currently in early access / beta. This means the Service is still under active development and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. By using Aoria during the beta period, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice
  • The Service may experience downtime, interruptions, or performance issues
  • Data structures and APIs may change during beta
  • Your feedback and usage data helps improve the product
  • Pricing, features, and terms may change as we transition from beta to general availability

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes, but we reserve the right to modify the Service at any time during the beta period.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Account security – Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials
  • Account activity – All actions taken under your account, whether authorized or not
  • Accurate information – Providing truthful and complete information during registration
  • Authorized use – Ensuring you have the right to upload and process customer data in Aoria
  • Compliance – Complying with all applicable laws and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Aoria to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the Service
  • Upload data you do not have the legal right to process
  • Upload personally identifiable information (PII) without proper legal basis and consent
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

4. Your Data and Customer Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to Aoria. However:

  • You grant us a license to process, store, and analyze your data solely to provide the Service
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload and process customer data
  • You are responsible for complying with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • You should anonymize or pseudonymize customer data wherever possible
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of data you upload

Recommendation: Use anonymized customer IDs, aggregated metrics, and business data rather than personal identifiers like names, emails, or phone numbers.

5. Service Availability and Modifications

Aoria is provided on an "as available" basis. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time
  • Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Update features, pricing, or terms during the beta period

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes or scheduled downtime.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Aoria (software, algorithms, designs, trademarks, content) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

AORIA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

  • We make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose
  • We are not liable for any data loss, business interruption, or lost profits
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on insights provided by Aoria
  • We are not responsible for third-party services (hosting, infrastructure) or their failures
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim

Beta Disclaimer: Because Aoria is in beta, you acknowledge the Service may contain errors, and you use it at your own risk.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aoria, its affiliates, and employees from any claims or damages arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of data protection laws or third-party rights
  • Data you upload to Aoria

9. Termination

Either party may terminate your account:

  • You – You may delete your account at any time via Settings
  • Us – We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, for non-payment, or for any reason with 30 days notice

Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time, especially during the beta period. We will notify you of significant changes via email or within the application.

Your continued use of Aoria constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
